Human Resource Development Minister (HRD) Nara Lokesh, in his statement on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, said that the Constitution gives rights and responsibilities to every citizen of the country. “Everyone talks about rights, but no one talks about the equally important responsibilities,” he said.

The Minister congratulated Kurmala Sri Kanakaputtulamma, a Class 8 student of Municipal High School, BR Nagar, Mangalagiri, who was selected to participate in the Student Mock Convocation scheduled to be held on Wednesday, November 26.

He invited the student and his family members to his home in Undavalli and interacted with them. Miss Kanakaputtulamma’s selection was based on her impressive performance in essay writing, debating and quiz competitions conducted at the school as part of the Student Essay Assembly selection process.

Mr. Lokesh underlined the need to nurture the aspirations of students, who are the future of the country. “Our effort is to integrate moral values into the education system and help students imbibe these values at a very young age,” he said.

Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and Speaker Ch. Ayyannaparudu would also be among those present on the occasion.
