Contraband scandal hits the I’m A Celebrity camp AGAIN as it’s revealed one contestant has lied
Despite an amnesty box being placed in the Jungle last week, contraband was found at the I’m A Celebrity camp again – and this time it was a bag of butter.
Show bosses were caught lying to fellow campmates once again when it was revealed that one of them had been sneaking butter into the camp.
A source from the show told the Daily Mail: ‘It’s been a roller-coaster day with more contraband being found and the consequences of this breach of rules rocking the whole camp.’
Earlier in this series, Alex Scott, 41, was forced to deliver when he was caught on camera putting salt packets into rice while cooking dinner.
As a result of the Ancient Lioness’ deception, show bosses punished the camp by taking one star from that night’s dinner and an amnesty box was issued to prevent further punishment for the campmates.

Alex and Shona McGarty, 41, were busted for smuggling contraband after the footballer took salt to camp and the EastEnders actress stole air freshener from a trial.
It was later revealed that EastEnders actress Shona McGarty, 34, had also hidden air freshener in her waistband, stolen it from one of the trials and stashed it in the camp toilet.
One of the campmates who appeared on tonight’s show did not hand over the butter they had hidden despite the amnesty box.
This comes after Alex told the Daily Mail about ‘Saltgate’ in his first interview since being axed from the show on Friday. The Football Focus presenter said: ‘We didn’t have luxury items this year so I stopped and had a chicken salad as I walked in, how boring.
‘And then there were a bunch of salt and pepper bags, so I thought: “Let me buy a few and see if I can take them camping.”
Alex was punished for his deception, as a star was taken from camp for dinner that evening.
It comes after the Football First pundit revealed how he snuck into the salt in an interview with the Daily Mail after he became a contestant to be axed from the show.
‘And the next day I put them in my sock and managed to get them in.’
The 41-year-old said Jack Osbourne knew the salt right away because he was on cooking duty and would hand it to him with a spoon.
Angry Ginge, the 24-year-old social media influencer and favorite to win, later recalled that ‘he saw me one night and set his sights on me’.
On his last day at camp he handed the empty packet to Emmerdale actress Lisa Riley and when she saw what it was she started screaming.
