Could the Great Pyramids hold the secret to the mythical Atlantis Hall of Records?

Secret chambers beneath Egypt’s Great Pyramids may hold secrets that rewrite human history; ufologist Mark Christopher Lee believes they may even point to Atlantis.
Recent ground-penetrating radar scans beneath the Giza plateau have revealed extensive underground structures that have sparked fierce debate among archaeologists and alternative researchers. Using advanced high-frequency radar technology, Italian scientists say they have detected deep vertical shafts, spiral staircases and pipeline-like tunnels extending nearly 600 meters below the surface.
The findings build on previous discoveries, including mysterious air-filled cavities within the Pyramid of Menkaure and L-shaped anomalies nearby, fueling speculation that the pyramids may be on top of a much older, hidden complex.
Among the most intrigued is filmmaker and UFO researcher Mark Christopher Lee, who believes the underground structures may be connected to the fabled Hall of Records, a legendary Atlantean library said to contain lost knowledge from a vanished civilization.
Lee said: “This is a pivotal moment in our understanding of ancient Egypt and human civilization. Radar scans show man-made megastructures approximately 600 meters below the surface, consistent with descriptions of the Hall of Records.”
According to lore popularized by medium Edgar Cayce, the Hall of Records was built by Atlantis survivors and hidden beneath the pyramids, preserving evidence of advanced technologies and possible extraterrestrial contact.
“If confirmed, this could contain irrefutable evidence of extraterrestrial influences on our ancestors,” Lee added. “Artifacts, texts, or technologies that fundamentally rewrite history.”
The allegations come at a time of renewed interest in UFO disclosures in the United States. Prediction markets such as Polymarket have seen increased betting on whether classified alien files will be released under the Trump administration in 2025, with some markets briefly suggesting official confirmation is almost certain.
He reasoned: “The synergy between these pyramid discoveries and U.S. UFO transparency efforts could herald a new era of disclosure. Imagine if the Hall of Records kept data on ancient alien visitations directly linked to modern sightings.”
Not everyone is convinced. Mainstream experts warn that radar anomalies can be misinterpreted as geological features and emphasize that extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence. Egyptian officials have not yet announced any plans for deep excavation.
