Count Binface gives verdict on Trump and why Harry Kane is ‘just like me’

Count Binface has given his verdict on Donald Trump and explained why he considers himself a “kindred spirit” of England’s Harry Kane.

The comedian Clacton by-election candidate, who will face Nigel Farage in the contest to become his local MP on August 13, said he doubts he and the US president, whom he calls “Mango Mussolini”, will get along.

But he praised Kane, who is also a “winner”, ahead of England’s World Cup quarter-final against Norway on Saturday.

“I see a little bit of myself in him. He’s scored about the same number of goals for England as me.” [votes] “In an average election, so we’re kindred spirits,” said comedian Jon Harvey, known as Count Binface, who wears a bin on his head. Times.

Mr Farage has been forced into a by-election in Clacton, where he will go head-to-head with Count Binface after resigning as an MP following intense scrutiny over undeclared donations to him and Reform UK.

Ipsos polling this week found that one in three British adults (33 per cent) preferred Count Binface to win the by-election, while just 21 per cent told YouGov they wanted Mr Farage to be re-elected.

“Nigel Farage has decided to hold a referendum on his own,” he told the paper. “I was a little confused because his speech made him sound very upset about the way he was treated, and then he decided the best solution was to get himself into an election campaign. That looks interesting. I got my metaphorical popcorn ready. Not real popcorn, because I don’t have a mouth like that.”

The candidate said his “manifesto will be laser-driven, pinpointed to the needs of Clacton voters” while continuing some of his long-standing “policies” such as building at least one affordable home, nationalizing singer Adele and subjecting people who use loudspeakers on public transport to conscription.

What are Count Binface’s policies and how does he plan to serve Clacton if he defeats Nigel Farage?

Taxes

It simply says: “I have a very good taxation policy. I promise to lower your taxes and raise everyone else’s taxes.”

Donald Trump and US relations

He said it was unlikely that he and the US President would get along.I’m not sure we agree with Mango Mussolini and Peach Pinochet. If I went to America I would probably face ICE. The irony is that ice is exactly what I enjoy most when getting up.”

He serves his own voters

Pointing to criticism of Farage for not spending enough time in Clacton since the day he was elected, Farage said: “Maybe I won’t follow the last MP’s rule and visit Clacton. What do you do if you become an MP from Clacton? It looks like going to Washington DC and hanging out there.”

Immigration

“I don’t agree with the immigration policies of Reform UK, or indeed any of these parties – Restore, Reclaim, Reform, Reboot. They’re all like the stuff you had to do to floppy disks in the nineties.”

Relationship with Andy Burnham

He said the prime minister was “more humane than the prime ministers I’ve had the chance to chat with”.

“There’s mutual respect there. Makerfield was viewed as the most historic by-election of all time in Britain and would decide the identity of the next prime minister, so I said count me in. He won but I won morally. We both had something to celebrate.”

Mr Burnham had previously backed Count Binface, saying he “carries the hopes of the nation. Don’t let us down”.
