Court update in whale charity accused of being a front for assisted suicides plot

According to the court documents, one of the two suicides allegedly supported by the founder of a whale euthanasia aid organization took place until last week.
In 2024, 53 -year -old Brett Daniel Taylor established a charity institution to make euthanasia of beach whales called Cetacean Compassion Australia LTD.
It is claimed that one of which was used in fatal injections in the US and helped veterinary drugs illegally, which helps illegal suicide, and his case was briefly heard at the SouthPort Magistres court on Thursday.
In the court documents seen by Newswire, the police claim that on 11 April 2025, a man and a woman helped her suicide and women between September 4 and September 12, 2025.
The police also claimed that Mr. Taylor received money for human trafficking on 12 September 2025.
Authorities are also investigating a testament called end -of -life services and pro -probey business and 20 other suicide connections through a charity dating back to 2021.
In addition, in dangerous drugs, each of the trade was accused of having dangerous drugs and taking or having property obtained from human trafficking or supply.
Mr. Taylor’s defense lawyer Billy Gee asked for the postponement of the case until September 30, but the magistrate ultimately pushed the date back until October 7.
