Admissions based on CUET PG scores
A total of 198 universities will offer admission based on CUET PG 2026 scores. These include central, state, government, private and deemed universities. Each institution will follow its own eligibility criteria and admission process.
CUET PG merit list 2026 and cut off marks
The National Testing Agency will publish the CUET PG 2026 merit list in the form of a common list containing the names and marks of the candidates. The best in each subject will be determined from this list according to their scores.
The agency will also publish subject-wise cut-off marks for all categories separately. CUET PG 2026 cutoff will be made available to public online.

Important instruction to candidates
Candidates are advised to review the eligibility criteria of the universities they are applying to before applying. Universities will conduct their own consultancy processes based on the CUET PG 2026 scorecard.
There is no age limit to appear for the CUET PG 2026 exam, but candidates should check if each university has specific age-related requirements.
Marking scheme
According to the scoring scheme, four points are given for each correct answer, while one point is deducted for each incorrect answer. No points are deducted from unanswered questions.

CUET PG 2026 registration process started on 14 December 2025 and ended on 14 January 2026. The exam was held at centers across the country between March 6 and March 27, 2026.
