Cyclist in her 70s dies after crash with car
A woman in her 70s died after being hit by a car while cycling.
Suffolk Police said they were called to the B1106 near Brandon by the East of England Ambulance Service at around 10.50am.
Police said that the woman collided with a black Ford Focus, but despite all the efforts of medical teams, she was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said an air ambulance was also at the scene and they were appealing for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage.
The road is closed between Brandon and Elveden.
