Dame Jilly Cooper dies aged 88 : Author of Rivals and Riders passes away after a fall, family announce
His family announced that the famous novelist Jilly Cooper died at the age of 88 after a decline.
The rival writer is famous for his sensual romantic novels who sell more than 12 million books in his career.
Children Felix and Emily, Sunday morning death ‘full shock’ came, he said.
In a statement, they said: ‘My mother was the light shining in our whole lives.
“ He did not know the boundaries of his love for his entire family and friends. His unexpected death was a complete shock.
‘We are proud of everything he gets in his life and we cannot start dreaming of life without the infectious smile and laughter around us.’
Dame Jilly Cooper’s agent Felicity Blunt, during his career, said that the author described ‘culture, writing and speaking’.
His children Felix and Emily said that his death on Sunday morning came as “full shock”.
Dame Jilly was known for her books in Rutshire Chronicles, which includes the best showing Lothario Rupert Campbell-Black.
Perhaps the most famous of the series, competitors have recently been adapted by Disney+for television.
In 2013, the novelist lost his husband Leo Cooper into Parkinson’s disease.
The author knew him since he was nine years old, and even when he got worsening, he refused to send him to a nursing home.
Dame Jilly admitted that her husband had just continued to write novels to her later life to pay her medical invoices.
