Dangerous driver crashes HGV into multiple cars on A27 | News

Police have released footage showing a HGV driver crashing into several vehicles at 50mph on the A27.
On August 22, 2022, Kuljinder Singh failed to brake on a dual carriageway lane and crashed into the back of a red van, which then crashed into other vehicles.
Singh, who was driving a Mercedes HGV, was still accelerating at the time of the collision.
Three people suffered life-changing injuries as a result, with one victim stating that Singh “ruined my life”.
Singh, 45, of Ennis Square, Redcar, North Yorkshire, was arrested and charged with three counts of causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
He pleaded guilty to the charges at Portsmouth Crown Court on 10 October, where he was sentenced to three years and 10 months in prison. He was also banned from driving for 4 years and 11 months.
