David was spotted meeting Timothee Chalamet, who was cheering on opposing teams during the France-Spain World Cup semi-final on Tuesday.
Timothee’s father is French and bilingual in both English and French; The star holds both United States and French citizenship.
The Dune star, who is with Kylie Jenner, threw his support behind the French team while participating in the exciting match where they lost 2-0 to Spain.
David played for both Spain and France during his career; He played for Real Madrid from 2003 to 2007 and for Paris Saint-Germain in 2013 for five months.
