David Beckham’s sons Romeo and Cruz give sneak peek inside family celebrations as they congratulate ‘Sir dad’ on his knighthood and gush ‘no one deserves this more than you’ – but Brooklyn and Nicola stay silent

David Beckham’s children Romeo and Cruz revealed intimate family celebrations for their father’s knighthood on Tuesday as they showered him with praise.
The former footballer was welcomed by King Charles as he received his knighthood at Windsor Castle for his services to sport and charity, and his young sons were among the first to offer his congratulations.
Romeo shared a family photo as David celebrated the honor with his wife, Victoria, and their three youngest children, Romeo, 23, Cruz, 20, and Harper, 14.
In the photo, David could be seen smiling alongside Victoria and Harper as they held hands with their son, looking dapper in matching suits.
Romeo wrote under the photo: “No one deserves this more than you, I love you so much xxx Congratulations sir daddy.”
There was no sign of David and Victoria’s eldest son, David, and his wife, Nicola Peltz, at the celebrations. They have remained silent on social media so far.

Of course, the Los Angeles-based couple may not be on the lookout for David’s big moment at home in the UK, but any snubs on social media would be just the latest minor incident after months of family feuding.
When it was announced in the spring that his father would be knighted, Brooklyn neither publicly nor privately congratulated him, while his other two sons made a big fuss about the news on social media.
Last week, Brooklyn’s parents praised their estranged son’s culinary skills, hinting that a potential reconciliation could be on the horizon.
Despite their fight, Victoria and David continued to support their son from afar and last Thursday She ‘liked’ her new video on Instagram while making buttermilk pancakes for her fan base.
Posh Spice and Becks’ public interaction with Brooklyn comes after Becks failed to support Victoria’s Paris Fashion Week Show and the premiere of her Netflix documentary earlier this month.
In a recent interview, Brooklyn’s mother, Victoria, talked about the ‘changing dynamics’ in her family amid her fight with her son.
She appeared on the Call Me Daddy podcast with fashion designer Alex Cooper and talked about her ‘immediate family’ but did not directly mention Brooklyn.
Victoria shared that she tries to create a “safe forum” where her children can come and talk to her about their problems.

Cruz, 20, reposted a post offering congratulations from his father’s former team, Manchester United
He said: ‘So, we’re a very close family and you know, communication is very important and we always let them know about anything they want to talk about, you know, it’s a safe forum. You know, this is really important.’
Asked how she and David are coping with the changing dynamics in their family, she insisted: ‘Again, it’s just about communicating.
‘We were always like this with the kids. And I’m excited for them, they’re all so different. ‘They all like to do different things.’
Brooklyn is said to have become increasingly estranged from the family after not attending any of his father’s 50th birthday celebrations in May.
Knighthood is definitely a dream come true for David.
As a young child, he would go to the Horse Guards Parade with his monarchist grandparents to joyfully watch the Joining of the Colours.

Members of his family would religiously stand up for the Queen’s Christmas Day speech.
In fact, this time ten years ago, receiving a knighthood would have been unimaginable for the former England captain.
He was on the verge of being crowned ‘Sir’ in 2014, but concerns were later raised after he became involved in a tax evasion scheme thought to be legitimate.
And in February 2017, he targeted the honors committee for removing himself from the gong list, shattering his hopes for the honour.
However, he continued his philanthropic work. The Mail announced in June that Beckham had been nominated for the award by Unicef, the charity he has worked with for more than 20 years, and the British Fashion Council.
Sources said both organizations were ‘exploring ideas’ on whether they should put Beckham forward and had received very positive feedback.
It seems some of the people involved in the decision were very impressed by David’s birthday fundraiser; Instead of gifts, David asked people to donate to the fund to help children around the world, especially girls.
His new honor came at a time when closeness to the King was blossoming.
Sir David was accompanied by his proud parents Ted and Sandra, who wore Victoria’s designs.
They met at the British Fashion Council awards in May 2023, when David presented her with a jar of his homemade honey called ‘D Bee’z Sticky Stuff’, which he made at the couple’s Grade II-listed barn in Great Tew, Oxfordshire.
The king was stunned to learn of David’s hobby, and their conversation quickly turned to their shared love of bees.
They also met at the Royal Horticultural Society Chelsea Flower Fair in May this year. The king invited him to Highgrove, where he asked him to join his foundation.
Today Sir David was accompanied by his proud parents Ted and Sandra and his wife Victoria, who wore an elegant black dress specially designed by her fashion house for Sir David to meet the King.

For this special day, David and Victoria Beckham wore special Victoria Beckham outfits.
Sir David wore a tailored three-piece morning suit, Victoria Beckham’s first bespoke menswear piece.
The suit is made from an exclusive British mohair blend in a dark charcoal grey, and features a sharply designed lampshade.
Victoria wore a special version of the brand’s iconic Bela dress, made from a rich navy blue fabric with a long asymmetric hem and beautifully textured edges.
