David Lammy was accused of being “disrespectful” for not wearing a poppy at PMQs.

The Deputy Prime Minister was not wearing the commemorative symbol when he began taking questions in the House of Commons.

But later another Labor MP gave him the poppy pin he was wearing on his jacket.

Conservative MP Saqib Bhatti wrote of X: “How disrespectful that Lammy doesn’t wear a poppy.”
