Bondi shooting suspect Naveed Akram has been transferred to Goulburn Supermax prison while awaiting trial.
Akram, who is accused of 59 crimes, including 15 murders and one terrorist act, will appear in court again on April 8.
Corrective Services NSW said:
Community safety remains this government’s top priority and NSW Corrective Services takes responsibility for appropriately managing serious offenders with incredible seriousness.
The high-risk management correctional center is the most secure prison in the state and is equipped to house the highest risk inmates.
We cannot comment on the specific circumstances of individual prisoners.
