Daylight bank heist in Singrauli: One accused held; M.P. police launch manhunt in four States

An accused involved in a daytime bank robbery involving cash and gold worth ₹15 million in Madhya Pradesh’s Singrauli district was arrested from a train in Bihar’s Aurangabad district, officers said. Hindu On Saturday, April 18, 2026.

According to the police, the accused was detained by the Railway Protection Force (RPF) after he was found in a suspicious condition on an express train near Aurangabad’s Nabinagar station and was arrested after interrogation. The man was identified as Kamlesh Kumar and around ₹ 15 lakh in cash and some gold were seized from him.
