Deal Reportedly ‘Within Reach’ to End Government Shutdown

A deal to end the 40-day government shutdown is reportedly “within reach.” A new report from Axios.
Citing sources from both parties, the Axios report said Senate Democrats are ready to introduce a package of bills to end this divide. According to Axios, the procedural motion that would allow for a vote on these bills is expected to be supported by at least 10 Senate Democrats; It adds that the deal would also include a vote in December on extending Obamacare tax credits.
