Delivery worker killed after bus hits bike in Kochi

A 46-year-old food delivery worker died after being hit by a private bus in Kochi on Thursday night. The deceased has been identified as Sunilkumar (46) from Udma in Kasaragod district.

The accident took place in Kacheripady around 8 pm when both the bus and the motorcycle were heading towards Kaloor. Allegedly, the bus crashed into a two-wheeler while trying to overtake a car. Although Sunilkumar was taken to a private hospital, he died due to his injuries.

Police sources said that the bus crew fled the scene after the accident and a search was on to find them.
