Democrats flip seat in Florida state house in district that includes Trump’s Mar-a-Lago | Florida

Democrats managed to flip the Florida statehouse in the district that is home to Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago.

Democrat Emily Gregory defeated Republican Jon Maples, who had the US president’s support. The Associated Press reported the race Tuesday evening.

Trump voted via mail-in ballot in the race, although he criticized the practice as “rigging by mail” at an event in Tennessee this week.
