Denise Richards’ ex Aaron Phypers ARRESTED outside court over ‘spousal abuse’ claims after tense restraining order hearing

Denise Richards’ ex Aaron Phypers was arrested outside court on charges of ‘spousal abuse’ during their ongoing divorce fight.
The 54-year-old TV star and her estranged husband attended the hearing in Los Angeles, where Phypers was taken into custody by Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Deputies.
Richards’ lawyer confirmed this Us Weekly He said that his ex-girlfriend was arrested for ‘violence against his wife’.
An eyewitness described the moment to the outlet, saying Phypers was ‘arrested outside court and taken down a nearby escalator.’ [He] didn’t come again [the] corridor.’
Richards was also at the courthouse at the time and remained “calm” while speaking to his “team.”
Another witness stated that Phypers appeared ‘confused’ by the arrest and was unaware that he would be detained by police officers.
Phypers’ attorney, Michael Finley, has since commented on the arrest, saying: TMZ It was stated that Richards was detained due to an ‘extraordinary arrest warrant’ with a possible connection to the harassment allegations.

Finley claimed Phypers was unaware of any search warrant and also accused Richards and his legal team of ‘setting him up.’
The Daily Mail reached out to representatives for Phypers and Richards for comment but did not immediately hear back.
The estranged couple appeared in court for a restraining order hearing on Friday, and Richards’ final statement was given after the lunch break.
An eyewitness also told Us Weekly that he saw eight officers standing outside the courtroom at the time.
The hearing and Richards’ temporary restraining order have been extended until November 7.
In July, Phypers filed for divorce from Richards, citing ‘irreconcilable differences’ as the reason for the separation, and their separation date was stated as July 4, 2025.
That same month, Richards was granted a temporary restraining order just days after she filed for divorce.
The actress, who was previously married to Charlie Sheen, also claimed that Phypers gave her three concussions and that her marriage to Sheen was better.

Richards had previously shared a photo of herself with a black eye, but Phypers claimed she ‘bruises easily’.
