Man, 38, beaten while trying to stop alleged robbery attempt in the Loop on Saturday night, police say
A Chicago-38-year-old man was beaten while trying to stop a robbery attempt outside a target store on Saturday night.
The 33 -year -old man was shot and killed in Douglass Park and was killed, he says Chicago Police
Chicago police said that the man was in the 0-100 block of South State Street at 20:15 when he was trying to steal a 22-year-old man. According to the police, the victim continued to swell in his face and a cut behind his neck during the incident.

The police say he was taken to a regional hospital in a good condition.

According to the police, the criminal, in the meantime, was not injured and was detained by responding to the officers.
