Detective charged with operating equipment beneath clothing

A detective was accused of using equipment under clothing without permission, the police department said.

Det Con Lee Harshey-Jones is due to appear in court after being suspended from duty following an “incident” at Colwyn Bay in County Conwy earlier this month.

He was released on bail after appearing before a judge in Warrington, Cheshire, in early June.

He will next appear at a plea hearing at Chester Crown Court on July 14.
