Dheeraj murder accused Nikhil Paily nominated to Idukki District Congress Committee

The Idukki District Congress Committee (DCC) on Saturday nominated Students Federation of India (SFI) activist Nikhil Paily, who is accused of the murder of Dheeraj Rajendran, a BTech student at Idukki Government Engineering College in Painavu, to the committee.

When the police recorded the arrest of Mr. Paily in 2022, he was the president of the Youth Congress Vazhathope mandalam.

Majo Karimuttam, Joy Vadakkedam, Varkey Alakkaprambil and George Joseph were also nominated to the committee, the DCC said on Saturday.
