Speaking to journalists in the White House on Monday, Trump added that he had stopped seven wars so far and that four were solved through trade tariffs. He added the ongoing Russian-Ukraine War, which was mediating to solve it. “I thought it would be the easiest of the seven people we settled, but you never know what will happen in a war.” He said. Recently, Trump met with Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelenskyy as part of his efforts to end the war.
