Three people dead and man arrested after incident in southwest Sydney | Australia news

Three people have died and a man has been detained by police following an incident at a house in south-west Sydney.

NSW police attended the Rosemeadow home at 1.30am on Sunday following reports of disturbances.

Officers found the bodies of a 64-year-old man with serious head injuries, as well as a woman in her 60s and a man in his 20s.

The injured man was treated by NSW ambulance paramedics and Liverpool hospital but later died.

As of Sunday morning, the bodies had not yet been officially identified.

Police said the victims were “attacked by a man they knew.”

Police arrested a 32-year-old man who was taken to Campbelltown police station for questioning.

Officers had set up the crime scene and were preparing a report for the coroner. Police said the incident was being treated as domestic violence-related.
