Disproportionate assets case: Telangana ACB raids properties linked to Nizamabad Excise Superintendent Mallareddy

Telangana Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, launched simultaneous searches at four places in Nizamabad linked to District Prohibition and Excise Officer and Inspector K. Mallareddy in connection with the Disproportionate Assets (DA) case registered against him.

According to officials, four ACB teams conducted raids on properties associated with the excise officer, including his residence in Macha Bolarum, as well as houses of his family members and close friends.

The searches were initiated upon allegations that the official had assets disproportionate to his known sources of income. ACB officials are currently reviewing documents, financial records and other materials seized during searches to determine the extent of the alleged irregularities. At the time of publication, raids were ongoing and more details are awaited from the investigating agency.
