Donald Trump demands ABC fire Jimmy Kimmel after savage Melania joke | World | News

US President Donald Trump sent another message to TV star Jimmy Kimmel after the comedian’s controversial joke about First Lady Melania.
Writing in Truth Social, Mr Trump said: “When will the ABC Fake News Network fire the truly unfunny Jimmy Kimmel?”
The US President had already sent Kimmel a message saying the comedian had made a “truly shocking” statement showing the fake video of First Lady Melania and our son Barron, adding that “many people were angry at Kimmel’s vile call for violence.”
In his previous message, Mr Trump said: “Wow, Jimmy Kimmel, who is in no way funny as his terrible ratings on Television show, made a truly shocking statement on his Program. He showed a fake video of the First Lady, Melania, and our son Barron, as if they were actually sitting in his studio and listening to him speak, which they had not and never would have done. He then said: ‘Our First Lady, Melania, is here. Look at Melania, so’ she’s so beautiful, Mrs. Trump, like a pregnant widow.” you have a sparkle’.
“A day later, a madman tried to enter the ballroom of the White House Correspondents’ Dinner, armed with a shotgun, a handgun and multiple knives. He was there for a very obvious and sinister reason.
“I appreciate that many people are outraged by Kimmel’s vile call for violence and would normally not respond to anything he says, but this is way beyond the norm.
“Jimmy Kimmel should be fired immediately by Disney and ABC. Thank you for your attention to this matter! President DONALD J. TRUMP.”
Mrs Trump also said: “People like Kimmel should not have the opportunity to break into our homes every night and spread hate.
“Kimmel, a coward, is hiding behind ABC because he knows the network will continue to hide to protect him. Enough is enough.
“It’s time for ABC to take a stand. How many times will ABC’s leadership allow Kimmel’s cruel behavior at the expense of our community? (sic)”
