Trump visited Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, where Trump’s personal physician, Navy Capt. Sean Barbarella, noted the number in a May 29 memo.
That’s the highest number of experts a president has ever seen during a physical examination, records show. During Trump’s previous check-up in April 2025, he met with 14 doctors.
according to Washington Post In 1989, then-President George H.W. Bush looked at five experts, and his son, George W. Bush, looked at 12 experts in 2001.
It was revealed that in 2024, Joe Biden met with a group of ’20 doctors’ for his medical examination.
Press spokesman Jean-Pierre did not disclose how many of these doctors were specialists.
Over the past 14 months, Trump has publicly visited Walter Reed three times.
Another checkup including an exam in April 2025, a CT scan in October, and an exam at the end of last month.
Following Trump’s last examination, it was concluded that he “is in excellent health and demonstrates strong cardiac, pulmonary, neurological and general physical function.”
The president was listed at 75 inches, 238 pounds (14 pounds heavier than last year), but had a healthy resting heart rate and normal blood pressure.
The report states that he took two cholesterol medications and aspirin for his heart.
Despite this result, there were several concerns about the president’s health during his second term.
Trump has repeatedly denied rumors of physical or mental impairment, claiming he is in “excellent health” despite visible bruising, swelling and apparent memory loss.
Speaking to Truth Social after the appointment, Mr Trump insisted he was in “excellent” health, writing: “Just finished my 6-month checkup at Walter Reed Military Medical Centre.
“Everything checked out PERFECTLY. Thank you to the wonderful Doctors and Staff! We are returning to the White House.”
