Donald Trump Jr says Kirk murder evidence puts conspiracy theories to rest

Donald Trump Jr. Unsealed evidence obtained at a preliminary hearing in Charlie Kirk’s murder case disproves “conspiracy theories” about his death, she said Thursday.

Trump Jr., a longtime friend of Kirk, was in the courtroom in Provo, Utah, this week, listening to arguments and reviewing undisclosed evidence against Kirk’s accused killer, Tyler Robinson.

“Based on everything I saw in the courtroom, it’s very clear to me that Tyler Robinson did this,” he said on “Jesse Watters Primetime.”

Robinson, 23, is accused of fatally shooting Kirk, 31, at Utah Valley University on Sept. 10, 2025, and could face the death penalty if convicted.

His Preliminary hearing started on MondayProsecutors are trying to establish probable cause that would allow the case to go to trial on a battery of charges.

Robinson allegedly admitted to killing Kirk in explicit text messages he sent to his roommate after the shooting and said he was “tired of his hatred,” according to testimony at Thursday’s hearing.

“At this point, these things are very ordinary,” Trump Jr. said.

“The DNA evidence, the fact that he … turned himself in to me, reveals a lot of that,” he added.

Trump Jr., a regular speaker at Turning Point USA events, questioned the lack of security at Kirk’s Utah Valley University event.

“The big question in my mind at this point is not whether Tyler Robinson did this or whether there were some people from a foreign country or another planet, but why there were only six police officers active at a major event on a college campus.” he asked.

Trump Jr. noted that TPUSA college campus events often draw a heavier law enforcement presence, and that they draw “thousands” of people.

“These are big events,” he said. “I did 100 of these with Charlie Kirk all over college campuses… It’s really scary that there’s no all-hands-on-deck operation to prevent this thing from happening.”

Trump Jr. has argued that questions surrounding Kirk’s death were once a “50-50” affair, but said undisclosed evidence has shifted public sentiment to “90-10,” adding that most people believe Robinson is guilty.

He dismissed “conspiracy theories” about Kirk’s death, saying he understood why people might be skeptical.

Prosecutors are expected to present more evidence at a hearing on Friday. A hearing date has not been set.
