Donald Trump appears to have “painted” over his “bruised hand” ahead of his meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on Sunday.

The US President was seen in front of his home in Florida as he met with Zelensky to discuss the 20-point peace plan to end the war in Ukraine.

The 79-year-old man had previously been photographed with plasters covering his hands and heavy make-up, which raised concerns about his health.

The White House has long attributed the bruises on her hands to too much handshaking.

Earlier this month, on December 11, White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt reiterated an answer she had made months earlier, citing a cast on the back of her hand that once again sparked speculation.

“As for the bandages on the hand, we gave you an explanation for that as well,” Leavitt told reporters. he said. “The president is literally shaking hands all the time.”

“He is also on a daily aspirin regimen, which is something his past physical exams have shown and may contribute to the bruising you see.”

His team also quickly shut down speculation after the 79-year-old was photographed with his eyes closed during Cabinet meetings.

“Good,” White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles said. He added: “He’s not sleeping. His eyes are closed and his head is leaning back… and, you know, he’s fine.”

This comes at an important time for the US President as he prepares to discuss with Zelensky an updated peace deal to end the Russia-Ukraine war. Zelensky this week described it as “the main framework for ending the war.”
