Donald Trump ‘pushing Hollywood to resurrect anti-woke action comedy series’ | Films | Entertainment

One of Donald Trump’s biggest financial backers is fellow billionaire Larry Ellison, whose son David is CEO of Paramount Skydance.
The Ellisons are close to purchasing Warner Bros. and all its intellectual property, including some of the president’s favorite movies.
Accordingly SemaphoreTrump wants to see a revival of the anti-woke action comedies of the ’80s and ’90s.
An insider revealed that the Commander-in-Chief personally pressured the Ellisons to revive Brett Ratner’s Rush Hour series starring Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker.
It’s been 18 years since the last installment of the buddy cop movie series, filled with slapstick, martial arts and racist stereotypes.
Filmmaker Dallas Sonnier described the debut he predicted: “A wave of classically male-oriented films featuring mentally strong, conventional, brave, self-confident heroes. Maybe even a little cocky, but dedicated to honor and duty. Plus, of course, a few explosions, gunfights, helicopters, fistfights and car chases!”
It looks like the best of ’80s Hollywood is returning with the ’80s businessman president.
