Donald Trump ‘rotting in real time’ as bruise sparks health debate | US | News

Donald Trump has been accused of “bruising in real time” after his hand was once again seen covered in thick make-up, in what appears to be another attempt to hide an apparent bruise.
The 79-year-old president appeared before reporters at the construction site of the ballroom planned to be built at the White House on Tuesday. Cameras captured a detailed view of Trump as he boasted that the ballroom would serve as a “shield” for the structures the Secret Service and military were building below.
The image revealed a heavy layer of make-up hiding the president’s hand, which has seen large, dark bruises in recent months. “Oof – Trump’s dismembered hand was photographed by @kentnish today,” one user X posted alongside the photo taken by an AFP photographer.
“Those bruises must be gnarly…he’s got 5 thick layers of makeup on,” one observer said, before asking: “Does he wash his hands throughout the day to use the restroom? Doesn’t he have to reapply them every time, or is he really that gross and doesn’t wash his hands like a lot of gross guys…
“No amount of makeup can cover up this mess,” another commenter said. A third person wrote: “It’s not every day you see a person decompose in real time. It makes you wonder how long until he can no longer function.”
“His hand – it really reminds me of funerals I’ve been to – facing the casket and looking at the folded hands of a deceased loved one, God bless their souls,” observed another.
White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt stated in July last year that the permanent bruise on Trump’s right hand was the result of intense handshaking combined with his daily aspirin routine. However, during his attendance at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, in January, a noticeable bruise appeared on his left hand.
Speaking to reporters aboard Air Force One, Trump revealed he clipped it to a table. The president, who admitted that he took his daily aspirin dose much higher than his doctors’ recommendations, also argued that the drug caused him to bruise more easily.
Concerns about Trump’s bruised hands come amid growing health concerns after he appeared to fall asleep during several Cabinet meetings. The president has been seen with his head bowed and eyes closed at many high-profile meetings since returning to office.
Earlier this month, he faced accusations that he concealed his “severe cognitive decline” after apparently falling asleep during a live television broadcast. The President was sitting at his Oval Office desk and Robert F. Kennedy Jr. He was standing next to her making a speech; However, as the conversation progressed, Trump’s eyelids became heavy and his head fell towards his chest.
Trump showed no visible reaction to Kennedy’s words, even when his name was mentioned, remaining motionless with his eyes closed and his head bowed.
