Moment gunman who shot eight-year-old girl and father arrested | News

The footage shows the moment the shooter who shot an 8-year-old girl and her father, disguised as a Deliveroo driver, was arrested.

Jazz Reid, 33, shot 11 times at the boy twice and the 34-year-old man five times while sitting in a car with other family members in Ladbroke Grove, north-west London, on November 24, 2024.

The family was celebrating the girl’s birthday when Reid opened fire. While both victims survived the attack, the man suffered life-threatening injuries and is currently unable to walk.

Reid continued to deny his guilt or explain his motives. Judge Sarah Whitehouse KC raised the possibility of “contract murder” as there was no evidence he knew his victims.

On Thursday, January 15, Reid, of Iffley Close, Uxbridge, was sentenced to 38 years in prison and a further five years on extended licence, at the Old Bailey.
