White House officials are denying rumors that President Donald Trump is hospitalized or dead, as speculation circulates online about his low public profile over the Easter weekend. White House communications director Steven Cheung wrote about X: “There has never been a President who has worked harder for the American people than President Trump.
“He’s been working nonstop in the White House and Oval Office this Easter weekend. God bless him.” The administration’s swift response Account

The rumors intensified after the White House told the press to “cover” at 11 a.m. Saturday and signaled there would be no further public events that day. 79-year-old Trump preferred to stay at the White House instead of going to his Mar-a-Lago mansion in Florida.
The Sunday schedule included only “management time” in the mornings and “Family Easter Dinner” with First Lady Melania Trump in the evenings. He has not publicly addressed the ongoing search and rescue operation for a missing US fighter pilot whose plane was shot down over Iran.
This is the first such incident of a US pilot being shot down behind enemy lines since 2003. In a brief telephone interview with The Independent on Friday, Mr Trump declined to detail possible US actions if Iranian forces capture or harm the airman: “I can’t comment on that because we hope that doesn’t happen.”
Despite the silence on the rescue mission, he shared video of what he described as a “massive attack” on Tehran on Truth Social on Saturday afternoon. President Trump wrote: “Many of Iran’s Military Leaders who evilly and unwisely guided them ended with this massive attack in Tehran along with many others! President DONALD J. TRUMP.”

This isn’t the first time Mr. Trump’s health has sparked intense speculation online. He has faced repeated scrutiny from the White House over his frequent handshakes, as well as visible bruises on his hands, which have been attributed to his use of higher-than-recommended doses of aspirin to ward off cardiovascular disease.
Photos show permanent discoloration, sometimes covered by makeup, raising questions about its overall condition.
He was also diagnosed with chronic venous insufficiency; This causes leg swelling, a common age-related problem, but doctors have noted that it is benign and not a sign of a deeper problem such as a blood clot.
Mr. Trump’s most significant past health scare came in October 2020, during his first term, when he tested positive for COVID-19 and was hospitalized for three nights at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. At the time, his condition was more serious than initially made public.
His blood oxygen levels dropped into the 80s, he required supplemental oxygen at least twice, and he was treated with remdesivir, the steroid dexamethasone and an experimental antibody cocktail.
Officials later acknowledged concerns that he might need a ventilator.
Current rumors of a visit to Walter Reed or worse appear to stem entirely from chatter on social media, with no evidence of any hospital activity or emergency. White House officials insist that the President is simply focused on his job amid the volatile situation in Iran.
As in previous episodes, this shows that Mr. Trump’s age and visible signs of aging continue to fuel public debate and conspiracy theories whenever he steps away from the spotlight, even briefly.
