US President Donald Trump was listed as a passenger on sex offender Jeffrey Epstein’s private jet eight times between 1993 and 1996, a new email released by the US Department of Justice (DOJ) said.

In an email from an assistant U.S. attorney dated January 7, 2020 “Donald Trump traveled far more on Epstein’s private jet than previously reported (or that we know of)” writes.

The presence of Trump’s name in the flight records does not indicate wrongdoing. Trump in 2024 wrote: “I Never Got on Epstein’s Plane”. He has denied any wrongdoing regarding Epstein.

The Justice Department said some of the files released Tuesday were against Trump. “Contains unrealistic and sensational claims” he said.

Trump had been a friend of Epstein’s for years, but the president said they had a falling out in about 2004, years before Epstein’s first arrest.

The latest version of the documents, which total more than 30,000 pages, is part of the so-called Epstein files, which the Justice Department was legally required to release in its entirety by last Friday.

The Justice Department said in a statement on Tuesday: “Some of these documents contain false and sensational allegations against President Trump that were submitted to the FBI just before the 2020 election. To be clear: the allegations are baseless and false, and if they had any credibility they would certainly have been weaponized against President Trump.”

“However, in our commitment to law and transparency, the Department of Justice is releasing these documents with legally required protections for Epstein’s victims.” The DOJ’s statement on X said:

The prosecutor’s email was sent on January 7, 2020, and is part of an email chain with the subject line: “RE: Epstein flight logs.”

The sender and recipient are redacted, but the name of the assistant U.S. attorney for the Southern District of New York is redacted at the bottom of the email.

In the email, Trump “He was listed as a passenger on at least eight flights, including at least four flights between 1993 and 1996″ It is stated. [Epstein’s associate Ghislaine] Maxwell was also there. He is stated to have traveled with Marla Maples, her daughter Tiffany, and her son Eric, among others, at various times.”

“On a 1993 flight, she and Epstein were the only passengers listed; In the other, only three passengers were Epstein, Trump and the then-20-year-old…” – corrected the rest of the sentence.

It continues like this: “Two of the passengers on the other two flights were women who could have been potential witnesses in the Maxwell case.”

In 2022, Ghislaine Maxwell was sentenced to 20 years in prison for crimes including conspiracy to entice minors to travel to participate in illegal sex acts and sex trafficking of minors.

Epstein died in a New York jail cell in 2019 while awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges.

Text: January 7, 2020, at 7:56 PM, > wrote: For your situational awareness, I want you to know that the flight records we received yesterday reflect Donald Trump traveling on Epstein’s private jet much more than previously reported (or that we know of), including the period during which we expect to seek charges in the Maxwell case. Notably, he was listed as a passenger on at least eight flights between 1993 and 1996, including at least four flights on which Maxwell was present. The prosecutor’s email did not include further details about the flights.

A handwritten flight log released by the DOJ in February appears to have many difficult-to-read entries.

However, one lists Donald Trump, as well as his son Eric, as flying from PBI (Palm Beach International Airport in Florida) to TEB (Teterboro Airport in New Jersey) on August 13, 1995. It also lists JE and GM, which are believed to be abbreviations for Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell.

Tuesday’s release of files on Epstein is the biggest yet; However, many more documents held by the Ministry of Justice have not yet been made public. Several thousand files have been released in eight groups since Friday.

The Justice Department missed a deadline set by Congress last Friday to release all of its files on Epstein, including photos, videos and investigative materials.

Ministry faced criticism from survivors and lawmakers across the aisle because he could not meet this deadline.

Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche said the day the deadline expired: not all files will be made public immediatelyand more will be released in the coming weeks.

In his statement on Friday, “There are a lot of eyes looking at these things, so we want to make sure we protect each and every victim when we produce the materials we produce” he said.
