Donald Trump Vows To ‘Substantially Raise’ Tariffs On India Over Russian Oil Trade | India News

The United States President Donald Trump said on Monday, since India’s Russia bought “large amounts of oil” from Russia and sells the tariff paid by India to the United States to a great extent, and this will pay a 25 percent tariff and an additional penalty for the trade deficit of the new Delhi.
“India not only buys a large amount of Russian oil, then they sell it in the open market for large snow for the large part of the purchased oil.
Trump’s tariff in India
Trump had previously announced that tariffs will be applied as of August 1st.
“Over the years, we have done relatively less work with them for years, because their tariffs are very high among the highest levels in the world and have the most strenuous and disgusting and non -monetary trade barriers of any country.” He said.
“They also bought the majority of military equipment from Russia, and Russia’s largest energy buyer will pay a 25%tariff, plus a penalty for the above.
