Trump highlighted Spain and England, which do not support the war in Iran.

“Spain has been extremely distant from cooperation, and so has the UK,” Trump said.

“The UK was extremely uncooperative.”

He said Madrid did not allow US forces to use its military bases in Rota and Morón to support attacks on Iranian targets; this was a move that led to the departure of US aircraft from Spanish bases.

The UK government under Prime Minister Keir Starmer also drew Trump’s ire for initially delaying permission for US forces to use British bases for offensive operations; but the UK subsequently authorized limited use for defensive actions against Iranian missile and drone threats.
