Donald Trump’s new Scottish golf course locked down by police on opening day

Donald Trump’s new Aberdeenshire Golf field was locked to control a suspicious vehicle.
Police said in a statement from Scotland: “Shortly after 15:00, a security cord was placed at the entrance of Menie Estate of Aberdeenshire, while the officers were making cautious checks on a vehicle.
“This search was completed, there was no guilt and the cord was removed.”

National, public members, staff, journalists and others were evacuated and passed behind a collision barrier.
The images of the scene published in Sun show a vehicle of a bomb destruction unit at the scene, but there was no suggestion that any explosives were present.
The US President played a tour golf on the newly opened course in the early hours of the day. Washington would leave Rad Lossiemouth at 17:00 for DC.
