Doval Discusses Bilateral Relations, Regional Situation with Saudi Leaders
Riyadh: National Security Advisor Ajit Doval met with senior leaders of Saudi Arabia and discussed bilateral relations, regional situation and other areas of common interest. Doval, who arrived in Riyadh on Sunday, was welcomed at the airport by India’s Ambassador Suhel Khan and Saudi Arabia’s Deputy Minister for Political Affairs Saud Al-Sati.
Doval held meetings with Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan, Energy Minister Abdulaziz bin Salman and National Security Advisor Musaed Al-Aiban. The Indian Embassy in Saudi Arabia, in a post on channel X, said that during the meetings, the two sides discussed bilateral relations, regional situation and other issues of common interest.
Doval’s visit comes amid a possible second round of talks between the United States and Iran in Pakistan this week to end the West Asian conflict. The first round of negotiations between the USA and Iran in Pakistan on April 11 and 12 ended without any agreement.
