Drug dealer points loaded gun at police officer during chase | News

A drug dealer who pointed a loaded gun at police officers and citizens in Salford has been sentenced to 14 years in prison.
Jay Conway, 33, of Leicester Walk, Salford, had evaded capture from two undercover Greater Manchester Police (GMP) officers who spotted him distributing drugs to customers in Albert Park.
He was seen with a firearm while being chased and aimed the 9mm slide pistol towards Pc Dan Clayton as he fell to the ground with a stun gun.
As Conway fled, Pc Clayton took cover behind a parked car and brandished his gun once more, telling a member of the public: “Fuck you.”
Conway pleaded guilty to possession of a firearm, possession of an unregistered firearm, possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life, assaulting an emergency worker and possession with intent to supply class A and class B drugs.
