Millions of British will receive basic financial support before the August Bank Holiday Weekend.
This is coming because the government confirms that the benefit payments will be brought before the bank holiday on Friday, August 22nd. Changes come in front of the new academic year to support expenditures of families and caregivers. The Ministry of Labor and Retirement will provide the receivers of the payments planned for the weekend of 23-25 August.
Social Security and Disabled Minister Sir Sir Stephen Timms said: “We know how much families trust these payments, and we bring them in front of the bank holiday and ensure that no one will be there when they need it.
“This is particularly important before the new academic year – no family should choose between buying school supplies and putting food on the table.”
