India’s biggest hit during Covid-19 pandemic had two superstars, was released on OTT after 16 days, still earned Rs 220 crore

After the first quarter of 2020, and until the last quarter of 2021, theaters in India were mostly closed due to Covid-19 pandemia. Cinema halls opened for several days under strict arrangements, and at that time a film was celebrated to a large extent between the masses and classes. The film received a noisy response in theaters, won 154 RS net in India, and received 220 RS Crore in the world. During the Covid-19 pandemi, it was India’s largest hit. The Master also became the fastest Indian film that made OTT release after the theater version of the theater. Even after the OTT version, Master Tamil ran for more than 10 weeks in Nadu.

Vijay Sethupathi and Thalapathy Vijay in Loksh Cinematic Universe

After the Master, he collaborated with Vijay Sethupathi and Thalapathy Vijay for Loksh Kanagaraj, Vikram (2022) and Leo (2023), respectively. Vikram and Leo are the second and third films of the Loksh Cinematic Universe, which began in 2019 with Karthi-Starrer Kaithi. Rajinikanth-Starrer Coolie, who hit the theaters on August 14th next month. It is not yet known whether Coolie will be part of LCU.
