Photographer Martin Parr dies aged 73

Photographer Martin Parr, who reflected British life with his colorful photographs, passed away at the age of 73.

He died at his home in Bristol on Saturday, the Martin Parr Foundation said.

Inside a statement He said he would be “greatly missed” and was survived by his wife Susie, daughter Ellen, sister and grandson. He added that the family asked for privacy.

Jonathan Stephenson, who collaborated with Parr on art and design projects over the years, told the BBC he died peacefully while watching football, adding: “It was a great privilege to collaborate with Martin for 29 years.”
