A NWAS Spokepson: “15.06 North Western Ambulance Service received a call for a bus collision at EcCles, Barton Lane and recently declared a big event.

“Trust, ten emergency ambulances, advanced medical officials, hazard field intervention team (HART) and North West Air Air Ambulance, including a series of sources, including colleagues. The first source came at 15.10 timely.

“NWAS treated 15 patients who were taken to Salford Royal or Manchester Royal Revirma hospitals.
