ED Conducts Raids in Alleged Multi-Crore Liquor Scam

Vijayawada: Enforcement Directorate officials on Friday searched the houses of several accused in the alleged multi-crore liquor scam in the state.

The raids were carried out at places linked to Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy, Raj Kesireddy, Balaji Govindappa, Krishna Mohan and Dhanunjaya Reddy.

According to sources, the searches are based on findings submitted by the Special Investigation Team (SIT). As part of the ongoing investigation, simultaneous operations are ongoing in Hyderabad, Tirupati and Vijayawada.
