ED Raids Locations Linked to Minister Jarkiholi’s Brother-in-Law

Commissioner Y. Manjunath is Additional Commissioner in the Excise Department. The Emergency Service has not yet made an official statement about the calls.

When asked about the searches, Jarkiholi told reporters: “This could be a routine practice. Let’s wait until tomorrow, then I will react.”

When asked whether the searches were politically motivated, Jarkiholi reiterated that he would comment at a later stage.

According to sources, the ED conducted simultaneous searches at around six places linked to Manjunath in Belagavi, Bengaluru, Mysuru and Arsikere in Hassan district.

The official is currently posted in Bengaluru, sources said.
