Ed Sheeran watched his beloved Ipswich Town FC win promotion to the Premier League from the stands at Portman Road Stadium on Saturday.
The 35-year-old singer, who grew up in nearby Framlingham and is a lifelong supporter, witnessed his team beat Queens Park Rangers 3-0.
Ed shielded his eyes from behind the curtains as he watched the dramatic match from the staff box, joined by his friends.
The hitmaker kept warm in a black Stone Island coat and grew a bushy beard after debuting his new shaved head following his battle with shingles.
Following the team’s victory, fans stormed the pitch to celebrate after securing promotion on the final day of the Championship season.

In an Instagram post, Ed revealed what he’s been up to over the past month as he looks forward to getting back on tour.
He wrote: ‘1. Yes, I shaved my head. I wanted to shave it to mean a new beginning. There are many new beginnings in my life. I like it, I’m thinking of keeping it that way.
‘2. There are more Latin dates coming up, I’m so excited for that. Mexico, Brazil, Paraguay, Argentina, Chile. Details are on my website, tickets etc but I’m SO excited to be back and play there for you, some of my favorite countries and cities to perform in, it’s been so long
‘3. I ran into Martin Garrix recently, I’ve known this guy for over ten years, I love him, what a man.’
Ed continued: ‘4. I had shingles last month, I wouldn’t recommend it, but it’s getting better now.
‘5. I finally watched some weird stuff, the season 4 explosions.
‘6. Read a book called Demon Copperhead, I may be late to the party with this one but it’s great, go check it out
