Eighteen winners share enormous $30m division one Saturday Lotto prize
Eighteen lucky bettors took home the major league prize in Saturday’s Megadraw $30 million lottery.
The winning numbers in Saturday Lotto Megadraw 4639 were 19, 36, 21, 10, 9, 13 and additional 39 and 2.
Nearly a third of Australians had a ticket for the mega $30 million lotto prize announced on Saturday.
Eighteen people took home the grand prize, pocketing $1,666,666 each.
Only three of the winning ticket holders were members of The Lott.
There were also 189 second division winners who earned $10,197 each and 3884 third division winners who pocketed $751.15 each.
Lott spokesman Matt Hart said last January’s Megadraw saw 14 major league winners.
“Given previous years’ Megadraws, we could be hosting a group of newly minted millionaires in Australia this weekend,” he said.
“I’m sure this will help kick-start a very happy 2026 and beyond for the Division I winners. With a Division I trophy in your pocket, you’ll really have something to celebrate this January.”
He said there were more than 500 major league winners last year and they received more than $1.5 billion in total prize money.
“Last year, we heard screams of joy, hysterical laughter and stunned silence as Australians across the country discovered their good fortune and began to turn long-held dreams into reality,” he said.
