Ejipura flyover likely to be completed by June: GBA Chief

The Ejipura bypass project, which has been pending for a long time and continued to stall for several years, is finally showing signs of progress, with the Greater Bengaluru Authority (GBA) setting a tentative deadline to complete the work by June.

GBA Chief Commissioner M. Maheshwar Rao said on Tuesday that the authority is actively working to resolve outstanding issues and move the project towards completion.

He said the construction plan includes completing 762 parts, 645 of which have already been cast. The remaining 170 pieces have not yet been cast, while 490 pieces have already been sewn. “If this pace is maintained, the remaining civil works can be completed in the next two to three months and costing will also be completed,” he said, adding that GBA aims to complete the project by June, while the deadline may extend to July at the latest, depending on the progress at ground level.
