Elderly man charged with murder after shocking find inside Victorian home

An old man was accused of murder after a woman’s stabbing death on Sunday.

Police, immediately after 1 in the morning on Sunday, was called to the house in Pilleau Street, responded to reports that a 81 -year -old woman was stabbed.

The woman died at the scene and a 81 -year -old man was arrested.

He was accused of murder and was detained.

Monday will appear at the Warrnambool Magistrate Court.
