Elgar Parishad case: Accused Ramesh Gaichor released on temporary bail; jail authority apologises to Bombay High Court for delay

Prison officials, on Thursday, September 11, the Supreme Court of Bombay, “Elgar Parishad-Maoist links accused of activist Ramesh Gaichor, was released from prison in accordance with the temporary bail given to him,” he said.
“On August 26, 2025, Gaichor was given a three -day temporary bail by the Supreme Court of Bombay to visit his sick father.
The prison director also submitted an unconditional apology for not complying with the Supreme Court decision, which delayed the release of the activist.

Mihir Desai, the adviser of Mr. Gaichor, made an application on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, despite the Supreme Court decision, claiming that the defendant was not released because the prison officials insisted on the release of the court.
On Wednesday, September 10, 2025, a bench, governed by justice, fell to prison officials because they did not comply with the court decision, and the authorities said that the defendants harassed the defendants.
On Thursday, September 11, 2025, the prison manager made an unconditional statement. Affidavit said that Mr. Gaichor was released from prison on Wednesday night (10 September 2025). The court accepted the declaration and changed its previous decision, and Mr. Gaichor submitted its temporary bail until September 13th.
Last month, Mr. Gaichor gave temporary bail, while the High Court of High Court has not met his 76 -year -old father in September 2020 that he had not met his 76 -year -old father. Last month, he moved after a private court refused to seek temporary bail to visit and look at his sick father.
The private court said that his father suffered from normal age discomfort among the elderly. Mr. Gaichor and a few other activists were arrested for alleged to be members of the CPI (Maoist) group.
The case is about inflamed conversations on December 31, 2017 at Elgar Parishad Conclave in Maharashtra in Pune.
