Elon Musk, the richest man in the world, received a license for Starlink to start a satellite service in India. Union Telecom Minister Jyytiraditya Smindia said in a statement on Thursday, a frame for the allocation of spectrum is also available for a smooth presentation. The announcement coincides with the 30th anniversary of the first cellular call in the country in 1995. “Starlink was given a united license to start satellite internet services in India. Frames for the allocation of spectrum and agglomeration institution ready to be presented without any problems.” He said.

Spectrum allocation to Starlink, Jio, Airtel

Together with Starlink, Eutelsat Oneweb and Jio Ses de SEPCOM are waiting for Spectrum allocation to provide Satcom services with Starlink. Internet Subscriptions in India

Minister, the country’s phone connections are now 1.2 billion and internet subscriptions increased by 286 percent to 970 million, he said. “The use of large bands has seen an explosive growth of more than 1.450 percent, which rose from 60 million to 944 million today in 2014. Most importantly, the cost of mobile data fell by 96.6 percent and made India a global leader in affordable data in only 8.9 RS per GB.”
